More pics of our cute baby

Hey everyone! I am finally posting- hooray! While we have a very good baby, it is still hard for me to accomplish anything during the day other than taking care of the kids and maybe taking a shower :)

We have been so well taken care by our family and ward members. We feel very fortunate and blessed to know such wonderful people.

So my mom came to help me and arrived the day I had Russell. It was so great to have her here to watch the kids and take care of us all. The day before she flew home my younger sister Sarah came to help. She is pregnant with their first baby and finds out Monday what she is having! We are excited for her. She was such a great help. I am afraid she got worn out taking care of all of us.

Seth and Brenna are sure cute with Russell. They laugh at all the funny faces he makes. Brenna keeps saying all the time that she doesn't want him to grow up.

The day I got home from the hospital I was trying to wake Russ up to feed him and Seth and Brenna were watching. When he started to wake up Seth got excited and said "Mom, Mom! His eyeballs are open!"

Just this week I met with Brenna's teacher for a Parent-teacher conference, and she told me something cute Brenna had said about the baby. She said the first day of school after the baby Brenna came in so excited and told her about the baby. Then, the next day, she said, "We STILL have a baby!" It was funny to realize how she was just figuring it all out.

So here are some pictures of the little guy. I am sad because I think he is losing his hair. It is looking a little thin. I hope it comes back in dark.

He's Pretty Cute Huh

Big Baby and Growing

Happy Brothers

The day after Russell was born, the hospital gave Amy a guest meal. Kristy (my sister) was watching Seth and Brenna, so Grant and I had a dinner date with Mom and Russell. It was really fun and relaxing. Amy looks so great, it's like she's a super-woman or something.

Russell Kenneth is Finally Here!!!!! Finally.... did I mention he's finally here.

In case you hadn't heard, Amy and I narrowed the name picking down to either Adam or Russell. Russell if he was dark haired (Russell instead of Charles as previously posted).

Ok, Here is the story, 4:42 am Amy jumps out of bed saying her water broke. Rob was slow to get up because it's hard to wake him up before 4:43 am.
Then Aunt Kristy was called at 4:43:48 and she jumped in minivan (Honda Odyssey) and drove over. Rob directed said minivan into parking spot behind white tercel in front of our house. No cats were harmed in the parking of Kristy's van. OK now for the rest of the story.
Amy went to hospital - half-induced at 6:00 ish - epideral at about 9:45 ish - Baby born at 11:33.
Very well behaved and cute and lots of curly dark hair, dark brown eyes.
8 pounds 9 ounces, 22 inches long.

We had a fun weekend! Rob's mom flew in Thursday morning and spent the next couple of days visiting. Thursday night we got together with the Lish's (Rob's sister and family) and carved pumpkins.

Friday the kids didn't have school. Kristy had a piano recital for her students that morning. She kindly allowed Seth to perform as well. I am teaching him right now but no other students so I was grateful he could have that experience. It was a fun recital with the students dressing up in their costumes.

Friday night fun Grandma Weaver created a Halloween themed dinner followed by Halloween Bingo and other games. Then the kids donned their costumes and went trick-or-treating. It was a nice warm night.

Now it is November! Wow. Sometime this month I will have a baby....
